My grandmother showed me how to tat many years ago, and I am carrying on the tatting tradition 'with a twist'. It is a hobby, and occasionally maybe also an obsession, and I try to go with the flow and accept the ups and downs of my creativity. My main choice of material is cotton thread and beads in different sizes, and I love experimenting with contrasting colours and new designs. Tatting keeps my mind and hands busy, and attending markets meeting new trader friends and interesting people adds to my inspiration. The necklaces, bracelets, earrings and other accessories on sale have been made with love and care to ensure high quality. I have been tatting for 35 years now - I sell my makes both in person and online, and I also have experience collaborating and accepting commissions.
